May Birthdays
We have four students who had their birthdays in May. Happy birthday to Dylan (18), Nancy (17) and Jane (16).
We have received a very beautiful message from Jane, who shared her wonderful birthday experience that her homestay host organised for her:
"I always thought that celebrating my birthday alone abroad would be rather lonely. But I never expected that you all had secretly prepared so many warm details - my favorite cake and everyone's loud "Happy Birthday" song. During this period, I have been taken care of by you all, from three meals a day to daily chores. What you have given me is not only a sense of belonging to a home, but also a tenderness beyond blood ties. At this moment, all my words of gratitude are condensed into one sentence: Thank you for allowing me to have the most precious birthday memory in a foreign land. I will always cherish this sentiment! "
Thank you Jane and thank you to our caring homestay host, Ms Lin.
