Congratulations to Henry F (3/4C) on receiving the Opposition Award for his football match against Yarrambat last weekend for his team-first approach, always looking to involve others when he has the ball.
Well done, Henry! You've had a fantastic season, and everyone is so proud of your efforts. 💪🏼
Congratulations to Asher P (6SM) on an outstanding performance at the Whittlesea Showjumping Competition on Sunday. Competing in a higher grade, Asher achieved an impressive 1st place, a 3rd place, and was awarded Overall Reserve Champion.
Well done, Asher, on this fantastic achievement! 💪🏼 |
If your child achieves something special (grand final win, most valuable player award, best and fairest etc.), please email me (jordan.daley@education.vic.gov.au) through photos and an overview of the achievement to post in Contact. It is important to celebrate and recognise such successes with the school community.
Thank you,
Jordan Daley

CANTEEN
We are committed to keeping our prices as low as possible. However, rising cost-of-living expenses have affected our operating costs, and this is reflected in our new pricing.
There will be a price increase on the following items starting Term 3.
HELPERS NEEDED
If you have a spare hour on a Wed, Thurs or Fri between 1pm and 2pm, come along and help in the canteen. There is no food preparation involved, it's very simple and the kids love seeing parents there!
You need to have completed the Volunteer Induction, and sign up through CareBookings - www.carebookings.com.au - access code is JGU9L.
Helpers get a canteen voucher for their kids to use for their next lunch order!
Thank you
Miriam

OFFICE NEWS
Principals’ Day Friday 7 August 2026
Principals’ Day is a special opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge the outstanding contribution our principals and assistant principals make to public education.
On this day we recognise the dedication, resilience, compassion, and leadership demonstrated by principals across Victorian government primary schools.
Our school leaders play a vital role in shaping positive learning environments where students, staff, and families can thrive. Their work extends far beyond the classroom, encompassing educational leadership, student wellbeing, community engagement, staff support, and the ongoing improvement of schools.
On behalf of all the Greenhills staff and myself we whole heartedly thank you James, Janine, and Brad for your commitment to students, staff and the wider community.
Sam Redman
School Council President.
