It’s going to be an exciting term as our talented students and staff work together to rehearse and prepare our production to present to the school community at Clocktower Centre school on Wednesday 2 September (Cast A) and Thursday 3 September (Cast B).
It is a wonderful opportunity for our students to build confidence, develop communication and performance skills, strengthen teamwork and creativity, and experience the excitement of performing on stage in a professional theatre in front of a live audience.
Students have chosen or have been allocated their characters. Students with speaking roles will receive a character line card to take home. We encourage these students to practise their lines regularly, using clear voice projection, expression, appropriate hand gestures and purposeful body movement, to bring their character to life.
Costume ideas have been selected to be simple and easy to source. We encourage families to first look through wardrobes at home or ask family and friends if they have suitable items that can be borrowed.
Please ensure that:
Thank you for your support as we work together to create a successful and unforgettable production experience for our students and school community.
If you have any questions about your child’s costume or role, please contact your child’s classroom teacher.

Dear Parents and Students,
St Carlo Borromeo’s school production will be held in week eight of this term and the school community is starting to buzz with excitement! All grades are learning new songs and dance routines to impress their audiences and make our school proud.
In order to make the production program and DVD cover unique to our school we are running a ‘Design a Logo’ competition.
All students are encouraged to submit a design that could feature on the front cover of the program booklet and the DVD cover.
Students need to design a drawing that best describes the ‘Journey Together – The Greatest Adventure’ theme.
Within this theme students can create a design that represents:
Once you are happy with your design, please ensure your name and grade are on it and hand it to your classroom teacher and they will pass it on to Mrs Damoulakis in the art room.
A SPECIAL prize will be awarded to the student of the winning entry! So get your creative ideas flowing and design a fantastic front cover for our concert program and DVD!
Entries are due in by Friday 14th August.
We look forward to seeing some fantastic designs!
Many thanks,
Mrs Damoulakis – Art Teacher
As part of our school production, Our Favourite Holiday Destinations, we would love to create a photo montage to be shown on the theatre screen during the performance.

We are looking for family holiday photos taken in destinations such as:
If your family has travelled to any of these places and you would not mind “starring” in our school production, we would love for you to share your favourite holiday photo with us.
Please forward your photo to Mrs Milan at fmilan@scgreenvale.catholic.edu.au.
Thank you for helping us bring our production to life!
Kind regards,
Mrs Milan
