School Sports - What's Happening
PHOTOS AT SCHOOL EVENTS:
A reminder to parents, that as per the CES Child Safety Policy - Photographing, Filming and Recording (Students), we ask that parents consider the 'risks of publishing the photographs or videos/recordings/films and how to best protect the students’ safety and privacy.' As such, we ask that parents be mindful that they do not include other student's in any photos they take, as much as is practicable and that they consider the privacy of their own and other's children, when sharing photos taken at school events.
HOLY ROSARY ATHLETICS CARNIVAL 2026
Congratulations to all students who participated in our Holy Rosary Athletics Carnival. What brilliant weather we had for this event. All students should be proud of their efforts and it was great to see them having fun and trying their best. It was fantastic to see so much support from friends and family, we thank you for taking your time to come to this event.
A Big shout out to our helpers on the day - Annah and the CMC students, Emily Roberts, Ruby and Maddi Morrison, without your help the day would not have been such a success. We really appreciate it.

NEXT STAGE - CATHOLIC SCHOOLS ATHLETICS CARNIVAL (Thursday 20th August)
A friendly reminder that Catholic Athletics is on Thursday 20th of August. If your child has been successful in qualifying for this, you would have received a PAM note with further information.***Please be aware that 8/9 Year Olds only have four events at the Catholic Athletics - 100m, Hurdles, Long Jump & Shot Put.
BASKETBALL SUCCESS FOR MILLISON
Congratulations to Millison, who has been selected to participate in Basketball Victoria’s Under 12 Girls Basketball Jamboree, to be held in Echuca from 19 to 22 September.
Millison is one of just six girls from Bendigo who has been handpicked by Basketball Victoria to attend this prestigious event. The Jamboree brings together the top 120 Under 12 girls from across Country Victoria to compete in a tournament environment while developing their basketball skills and knowledge.
The event represents the first step in Basketball Victoria’s Future Development Program, providing talented young athletes with the opportunity to showcase their abilities and learn from experienced coaches and mentors.
This is a wonderful achievement and recognition of Millison’s dedication, hard work, and passion for basketball.
We are very proud at Holy Rosary, and we wish her all the best for the Jamboree and look forward to hearing about her experience.

Upcoming Term 3 Sporting Dates:
- Regional Soccer (Swan Hill) with our Holy Rosary Girls Soccer Team - Tuesday 18th August
- Catholic Athletics Sports (Grade 3 - 6) - Thursday 20th August
- Divisional Basketball (Year 5/6 only) - Wednesday 9th September
Students who are involved in these events will receive further information via a PAM note closer to the time.
