Inform and Empower
In 2025, we have partnered with Inform & Empower’s Cyber Safety & Digital Wellbeing program. This means students will participate in engaging and interactive live-streamed incursions each term. Developed by qualified teachers, these incursions are designed to help create safer and more positive online experiences for your children. Inform & Empower is endorsed by the eSafety Commissioner as a Trusted eSafety Provider.
These sessions aim to help children better navigate the online world and become more aware, clever, brave and kind. They will focus on topics including navigating unwanted contact, cyberbullying, help-seeking strategies, unsafe content, balancing screen time with "green time" and sharing personal information.
Prep (Safe Screentime)
Each live stream is 20 minutes in duration. Learning this term will focus on navigating the online world more safely. We will discuss how not all places on the internet are safe. We will explore how trusted adults can help us stay safe online.
Years 1/2 (Digital Footprints)
Each live stream is 30 minutes in duration. Learning this term will focus on the importance of creating strong usernames and passwords and not sharing personal information online. We will also discuss how not everyone online is who they say they are.
Years 3/4 (Cyberbullying)
Each live stream is 40 minutes in duration. Learning this term will focus on developing strategies for navigating uncomfortable situations. We will also explore what it means to be an up-stander and discuss help-seeking strategies.
Years 5/6 (Cyberbullying)
Each live stream is 50 minutes in duration. Learning this term will focus on navigating uncomfortable situations. We will explore strategies for being an up-stander as well as how and where to seek help. We will also discuss the importance of consent in online interactions.
