Youth Change Makers Challenge
Last week our Year 9 Leaders attended the Altona Civic Centre to commence the Youth Change Makers Challenge with Hobsons Bay Youth Services. The Hobsons Bay’s ‘Youth Change Makers Challenge’ is a youth leadership and participation program designed to engage, develop and celebrate young people who live, work, study, volunteer or recreate in Hobson’s Bay. Implementing a youth participation model delivered in partnership with local schools, HB YCMC will provide young people with the opportunity to develop skills in leadership and project management and apply these skills to implement a community project for other young people. Finally, the program will allow groups to present their project, connect with youth action groups in other local schools, and celebrate their achievements with their peers and supporters.
We look forward to seeing the project they deliver.
