Dear Families, 

It is hard to believe that we have one week before Term One finishes. I’m sure everyone is looking forward to a well-earned rest over the break. It is a bit of an unusual break with the first Monday of Term Two being Easter Monday public holiday and the Friday being ANZAC Day public holiday. 

Please note school finishes for Term One next Friday 4th April at 2.15pm. 

Easter Hat Parade

We hope families can join us on Friday 4th April for our Easter Hat parade that will take place at 9.00am. I am also excited to have our whole school perform a song on the day. 

School Open Days

Thank you to the families who visited our school on the recent Open Days. It was wonderful to meet so many families!   

School Council 

The SHNPS AGM is being held on March 31st at 5 pm. All parents are welcome to attend. The 2024 Annual Report is presented at this meeting. 

Chocolate Drive 

Thank you to the families who have been selling chocolate boxes for us. These types of fundraisers support our school to do great things!

School Saving Bonus

As shared with you previously, parents and carers of every child enrolled in a Victorian government school in 2025 will receive the one-off School Saving Bonus $400 support. Parents have received emails about this. 

Families can choose how they allocate and spend the School Saving Bonus funds using the online system. The School Saving Bonus can be used towards 2025 school costs, which may include:

• camps, trips, excursions and incursions
• swimming and sporting programs
• outdoor education programs
• graduations
• school uniforms
• textbooks (Please note stationery is not considered to be a textbook).
