Happy New Year and Welcome Back to a new school year!

Let's make 2025 our safest around schools!

Did you now know we have 102 Schools in the City of Casey, with 4 new schools in the Clyde area welcoming new students this week?

Welcome our new schools: Wulerrp Secondary College, Mirniyan Primary School, Turrun Primary School, and St Josephine Bakhita Primary School.

As one of the largest municipalities in Victoria, with a growing school community, we all must prioritize children's safety around school precincts. We will continue to provide schools with key road safety education messages to share with families.

Our first newsletter for 2025 focuses on returning to school with 4 key messages for families.  We also have new families starting their primary school journey, so this information will assist families in settling into school life and understanding the rules around school precincts.

Please take a few minutes to read important road safety messages and discuss the rules and signs around your school as a family.

40km Speed Zones

School speed zones are reduced-speed areas that operate near schools.

They’re designed to keep kids safe by lowering the speed limit at peak times when children are traveling to and from school.

Always follow all 40km signs.
