Do It For Dolly Day
On Friday 9th May, Rochester Secondary College proudly celebrated Do It For Dolly Day — a national day of kindness, compassion, and standing up against bullying.
Students and staff came together dressed in blue to show their support for Dolly’s Dream and the important message behind it: Be kind, always.
Our SRC helped lead the day’s activities, including a blue hairspray stand and chalk art messages of hope and kindness around the school. They also spent the day interviewing students and staff to create a powerful video capturing the heart of the day and what kindness means to our community.
Thanks to their efforts and the generosity of our school community, we raised $263.65 for the Dolly’s Dream Foundation.
A special thank you to Kaylah, Maddie, Indi, Paige, Remy and the rest of our amazing SRC crew for your passion and leadership.
Every small act of kindness helps create a safer, more supportive world for young people — and we’re proud to be part of that change.
