From the Principal

Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Welcome to Term 4! I hope the school holiday break (which can feel like it was a long time ago) was a time of breaking the routine of the school term and a chance for students to rest and relax with family and friends.
Enrolment for 2026
School organisational planning for 2026 is well underway, assuming all students enrolled in form Prep to Year 5 will return in the 2026 school year. If not, I ask that you contact the school office immediately and notify your intentions, office@ssrowville.catholic.edu.au. This information assists the school leadership immensely with planning and resourcing for the next school year.
The ART SHOW opens this WEDNESDAY evening from 5:30pm
Parents and Carers please REMEMBER on the night:
- The student toilet blocks will be designated for children and parents to use as family toilets.
- All students must be accompanied by their families. No students should be attending the event without parental supervision.
- The oval, playgrounds and athletic track are all out of bounds during the art show.
- Carparking is available in Main carpark Gate 4 for school families and visitors. (school staff will be parking on the basketball court with restricted vehicle access during the art show event.
2026 Class Requests
We will commence working on the 2026 class lists later in the Term, so any families who have specific requests for student placement for 2026 classes must email me (principal@ssrowville.catholic.edu.au) on Monday, 27th October, 4:00 pm sharp.
Please, this is not an opportunity to request to be in the same class as a friend, nor an opportunity for “teacher shopping”. We know that parents and families understand that class list creation is a complex activity and appreciate the faith and trust you place in the school to make these decisions.

Saints of Italy Principal Pilgrimage
I am looking forward to sharing more with the school community over the coming months about some of my reflections and learning that came from the recent trip to Italy.
Over twelve days, my principal colleagues and I explored the lives and places of significance for fourteen saints, including St Francis of Assisi, St Anthony of Padua and recently canonised Saint Carlo Acutis.
