JERSEY UPDATE

Students who receive a jersey for any upcoming trial, gala day or interschool sport will be recorded as proof of this borrowing method. This will allow our school to continue to use these jerseys and have enough for all students to wear and represent our school proudly at the many sporting events we provide to all students. Once jerseys are washed and returned to the school office, our staff will mark that the jersey have been returned. Any jerseys not returned will incur replacement fee.

Please check the wardrobes at home and return any jerseys of any style (singlet, soccer jersey or footy jersey) which belongs to the school. Thank you for the cooperation with this matter.

Interschool Sport

Year 6 had a great day at interschool football last week as did Year 4 at the AFL event. Year 4 were our first year group to experience AFL for interschool. Check out the fun they had below.

Please ensure you provide permission for your child to attend their next interschool sporting opportunity event. Below is an outline of all interschool sport across all grades for 2026.

Below is a document for the Stage 3 level 1 interschool sport and how to trial for the team. Netball and Soccer Trials have now been completed. Please note that the note has been amended with a new trial date for level 1 oz tag due to the announcement of the additional public holiday. Please see the below note attached.

Representative Trials

Congratulations to Xavier who has been announced in the MacKillop hockey team. Xavier will compete at the NSWPSSA Hockey Championships

Joshua G, Jack K, Ethan R and James S were able to finally trial at Sydney Softball from multiple rescheduled dates. A big congratulations to Ethan R who was successful at the trial. He will attend the Mackillop Trial on the 13th of May. Jordan G, Joshua G, Jordan P and Jasper T also recently trialled at Conference Touch. Thank you to all these boys for representing our school at this level. The Sydney Cross Country Championships is the next big trial for many of our qualifying students. This is always an annual favourite event as our students experience the fun of racing on the track at Sydney Motor Sports Park. Noah O will then give it his best at the Sydney Rugby Union Trial.

SUTHERLAND BASKETBALL GALA DAYS

Sutherland Basketball have invited our school to their annual gala days. Term 2 dates are for the boys gala days and the girls will be offered the same opportunity in Term 3. An expression of interest form has been shared with all students from years 3-6. From experience this gala day is fast paced and is recommended for students who are familiar with the sport. No late entries can be accepted once the expression of interest form closes on Friday 15th May due to administrative deadlines with Sutherland Basketball. Please look at the attachment with all details.
