NO INTERSCHOOL SPORT THIS WEEK - WINTER PROGRAM TO RECOMMENCE IN WEEK 2 TERM 3.
DIAMOND VALLEY BOYS NETBALL CARNIVAL
Congratulations to this GREAT group of Year 6 students who proudly represented Greenhills Primary School at last term's Diamond Valley District Boys Netball Carnival at Community Bank Stadium, Diamond Creek.
For all of the boys, this was their first experience playing netball, and there were certainly some nerves at the beginning of the day. However, as the carnival progressed, those nerves quickly turned into confidence and enjoyment as the ball zipped up and down the court.
Both teams experienced wins and losses, but what stood out more than anything was the way they embodied the Greenhills values throughout the carnival, particularly teamwork. They supported one another, encouraged their teammates, and consistently brought out the best in each other.
We are incredibly proud of the way they represented themselves and our school, and we hope this is just the first of many netball experiences to come.
COMMUNITY SPORTING ACHIEVEMENTS
Congratulations to Frankie W (2MH) and Macie H (2RB) on their fantastic efforts at their first competition of the year, representing The Edge Performers School.
Frankie and her team, the Starlights, placed 2nd in Pom and 4th in Jazz, while Macie and her team, the Sparkles, placed 1st in both Pom and Hip Hop, and 2nd in Jazz.
The girls will now be working towards the National Championships in Queensland later this year.
Well done, girls! 💪🏼

Congratulations to Asher P (6SM) on her fantastic achievement at the Yarrambat Show Jumping Day, held during the school holidays.
Competing against 16 riders, Asher finished in an impressive 3rd place after a very close competition. She is now preparing to compete at a higher grade, tackling bigger jumps as she works towards the Whittlesea Presidents Cup Qualifier on 26th July.
Well done, Asher! 💪🏼
If your child achieves something special (grand final win, most valuable player award, best and fairest etc.), please email me (jordan.daley@education.vic.gov.au) through photos and an overview of the achievement to post in Contact. It is important to celebrate and recognise such successes with the school community.
Thank you,
