Community Advice

NT Health has advised schools of an increase in diphtheria cases in the Northern Territory.

If your young person took advantage of the NT School Based Immunisation Program and received their Year 7 vaccinations, which included diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (dTpa) they will be covered.  If you are unsure, please check on your child’s vaccination record via Medicare.

There is a Diptheria Vaccine Clinic at Eurilpa House in the Todd Mall - opening hours Mon-Wed-Fri ~ 9:30am to 4:00pm or Tue & Thu ~ 8:30am to 4:00pm or call them on 8951 7909 if you have any questions.
