Fairy Tales Unit

This term, the Grade 1 students have been exploring the magical world of Fairy Tales. Throughout the unit, students have enjoyed reading a variety of traditional Fairy Tales and learning about the characters, settings, and story structures that make these stories so memorable.

Using the Fairy Tales they read as inspiration, students developed their writing skills by creating Fairy Tale stories of their own. 

The highlight of the unit was our Fairy Tale Dress-Up Day. Students arrived dressed as their favourite Fairy Tale characters and enjoyed a day of fun activities to celebrate their learning. It was wonderful to see their creativity and enthusiasm.
