Principal's Message

On Tuesday 9 June at 6:00pm the P&C will be holding the AGM, followed by a general meeting commencing at 6:30pm. All positions will be declared vacant. We would love to see new faces. Over the years the P&C have supported our school with the purchase of new laptops, classroom reading resources, outdoor furniture, our yet to be completed new concrete area and our school signage. You do not need to hold a position or take on a position to come to each meeting. At each meeting you will hear what the P&C and school have planned for fundraising, what is happening in our school, the canteen and OOSH. It is also a great way to meet other Eglinton parents.

On Wednesday we were lucky enough to host Principals, Assistant Principals Curriculum Instruction and our Director from the Bathurst Network to observe some explicit teaching practices happening in our classrooms. We had the pleasure of visiting K-6W and 2B. Our visitors had nothing but positive comments to make about the wonderful teaching happening in our classrooms.

It is so wonderful seeing all our students out in the playground skipping for Jump Rope for Heart. We are well on our way to achieving our fundraising goal of $5000, with $2851 already raised. It is a great program to keep our students fit while raising money for a great cause.
