Student of the Week- Week 3

Visual Arts - Ollie 1C (Be a Learner) Ollie demonstrated great focus and perseverance creating bases for our clay faces in our modelling lesson. I was especially impressed to see him applying his skills to ensure his spheres were perfectly shaped and very smooth. Congratulations and well done Ollie!

 

6A - Rayyan - (Be Respectful) You are a thoughtful and kind student who consistently shows respect to everyone around you. You include others, make people feel welcome, and display excellent manners at all times. Well done Rayyan, your positive attitude makes our classroom a better place. 

6B - Taylor (Be a Learner) for always sharing your ideas in class discussions and putting your best effort into all your learning tasks this week. Well done!

Chinese - Jai 1B (Be Respectful) Well done Jai for respecting others learning and supporting your peers when they face challenges when learning Chinese. Thank you for contributing to our school community with a positive attitude. 

 

6A - Chloe (Be Respectful) Chloe, you bring energy, kindness, and leadership to everything you do. You are consistently polite and caring, and you make our cohort a better place simply by being part of it. Whether you’re organising events, cheering on your house as a fantastic captain, or putting in top effort in class, you show exactly what it means to be a role model. 

6B - Yawer (Be a Learner) for always giving 100% effort and approaching every task with enthusiasm. You are a great role model for your peers. Well done!

 

4A - Edric (Be a Learner) Awarded to Edric for his wonderful efforts in his recent persuasive writing. He became an increasingly independent writer as he acted on feedback to revise his sentences, making them clearer and more effective. He is showing real growth as a writer. Congratulations Edric!

4B - Catherine  for the incredible effort you put into your persuasive text! You actively tried to include a range of interesting WOW words and persuasive devices to make your writing more convincing and engaging. You put so much thought into your ideas, arguments, and word choices, and it truly showed in your final piece. Well done on your hard work and persistence!

4C - Zak (Be Respectful) This award is for your respectful and thoughtful actions in the classroom. It is great to see the way you considerately contribute to class discussions and respectfully complete your work. Excellent work, Zak! Keep it up 😀

 

3A - Yizi (Be a Learner) for demonstrating pride in her learning this week by focusing on learning tasks and actively listening during teacher instruction. Well done Yizi, keep up the great effort!

2A-  Nolan (Be a learner) for working really hard to write a strong persuasive text. You have shown so much improvement and wonderful listening during explicit teaching. Well done Nolan!

2B - Beyza (Be a Learner) for consistently applying her best efforts during Mathematics lessons. Beyza attempts all tasks with enthusiasm and shows resilience when solving challenging problems. Keep up the wonderful work!

 

1A - Khang (Be a Learner) for his amazing progress in reading. He has developed a wonderful love of books and consistently puts effort into his reading every day in class. It has been fantastic to see his confidence grow as he reads for enjoyment and continues to develop his reading skills. 

1B - Lena (Be a Learner) Lena has worked incredibly hard in her learning tasks this week. She stayed focused, and avoided distraction during independent  reading time. Well done, Lena!

1C - Myra (Be a Learner) Myra for her awesome reading. She now knows all her words and has moved up 3 reading levels. Keep up the great work Myra!

 

FA - Doxa (Be a Learner) Doxa has shown great determination and resilience in his learning this week. Even when tasks felt challenging, he continued to try his best. I am very proud of you Doxa, keep it up!

FB - Angela (Be Respectful) Angela consistently puts effort into her schoolwork, listens carefully to her teachers, and uses her manners throughout each school day. She is also kind to and supportive of the other students in her class. Thank-you, Angela!
