Junior School

Thanksgiving Mass
Today, we gathered in the Chapel for our Junior School Thanksgiving Mass. This marked a special occasion as it was our final time coming together to celebrate Mass as a Junior School community in 2025. Year 6 Blue, led by Mr. Alex Paljetak, did an outstanding job leading the Mass, guiding us in a meaningful celebration of gratitude.
It was also wonderful to see the results of our Shopfront Donation Drive on full display, showcasing the generosity and spirit of our Junior School community. Damian Walsh, Director of Shopfront, joined us at Mass and spoke of his heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the boys and families of Trinity College. He went on to explain what a difference this support can make to the lives of families in our wider community.
We express our gratitude to everyone who contributed and supported this important cause. Your kindness truly made a difference, and it was a beautiful way to conclude our year of giving and togetherness.
This Mass, we also had the opportunity to acknowledge and thank our Year 6 Altar Servers who have served alongside Fra Oscar at all Junior School Masses this year. These students were role models to the Junior School community and have now inspired many Year 5s to seek out the opportunity to become a Year 6 Altar Server in 2026.
God Bless,
Mr James McPherson

Interschool Chess
On Tuesday 18 November, 12 boys participated in the Interschool Chess Competition at St Paul’s Catholic Primary School. In what turned into be a nail-biting contest, Trinity finished in second place, just half a point behind St Peter’s.
Our boys demonstrated exceptional skill, focus, and sportsmanship throughout the day, representing Trinity with pride and determination. Every match was a true test of strategy and resilience, and their efforts were nothing short of inspiring. Congratulations to the following boys who participated in the event.
