Sports Standout!

Lucy (4K) recently had an amazing experience representing Galilee and Team Victoria at the School Sport Australia Track and Field National Championships, held in Canberra from 27–30 November.

Her results were:

 1st Place – 10 Years Combined 4 x 100 m Relay

13th (Finalist) – 10 Years High Jump

Lucy earned selection via a state trial day, team training sessions, and selection races, including the final race in pouring rain!

Lucy enjoyed visiting Parliament House Question Time as a guest of Josh Burns MP, touring the Australian Institute of Sport (where she saw Olympic gymnast Georgia Godwin training), attending a WNBL game, and meeting Paralympic champion Michael Roger during an SSA excursion.

Lucy loved the opportunity to compete at a national level, make new friends, and represent Galilee with tremendous pride
