Principal's message

Dear Families,

As we arrive at the end of another action-packed school year, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on the achievements, challenges and milestones we have shared as a school community.

Throughout 2025, our dedicated staff and enthusiastic students have demonstrated resilience and positivity. The learning, growth and character displayed across classrooms, the yard and school events have been truly inspiring. I am incredibly proud of how our school values are shown in action every day.

Our students have made tremendous progress academically, socially and emotionally. Whether it was curious engagement in the classroom, spirited participation in sports, or creative contributions to the arts, every student has contributed something unique to our school culture.

I would also like to thank our passionate teachers and staff for their ongoing commitment. Your care for every child and dedication to continual improvement is at the heart of our school’s success.

To our families, thank you for your trust, partnership and ongoing support. It truly does take a community to educate a child, and your involvement enriches our students’ experiences.

As we farewell our Year 6 graduates, we celebrate their journey and wish them all the best for high school and beyond. We are confident they leave Clovelly Park Primary School equipped with the skills and values to thrive.

For those families that are returning to their home country, moving house or have children moving on from our Intensive English Language program, we wish you continued health, happiness and success in all that you do.

The staff look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Tuesday 27 January 2026, ready for another fantastic year of learning and growth.

As I will be taking leave in term 1 next year, our Deputy Principal, Kylie Tuckey will step into my role as Principal during my absence. I wish all students, staff and families a safe, relaxing and happy holiday break and a fantastic start to the new school year.

Warmest wishes,

Terena Pope
