MACSSIS Student Surveys
Dear Families,
At Corpus Christi, we recognise that student voice is an important part of our school community. When we listen to our students and invite them to share their experiences, perspectives and ideas, we gain valuable insight into what is working well and where we can continue to improve.
This week, students in Years 4, 5 and 6 will be invited to complete the MACSSIS (Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools – School Improvement Survey). The survey provides students with an opportunity to share their experiences of learning, wellbeing, relationships and school life.
Inviting and valuing student input is also an important part of supporting the wellbeing of our children. When students feel that their voice is heard, their experiences are valued and they have opportunities to contribute, it can strengthen their sense of belonging, connection and engagement with our school community. The feedback gathered through MACSSIS helps us use student voice to inform our ongoing school improvement and wellbeing practices.
Keeping Child Safety at the heart of what we do - Child Safe Standard 8

Child safety is a shared responsibility and an important part of who we are as a school community. Our staff continue to work through the Victorian Child Safe Standards, taking time to reflect on our practices and consider how we can best support the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of every child.
Our current focus is Child Safe Standard 8, which highlights the importance of staff and volunteers understanding their responsibilities for child safety and wellbeing. Through ongoing professional learning, conversations and reflection, we are continuing to build a strong culture where children feel safe, respected, heard and supported.
We are committed to continually learning and strengthening our practices so that the safety and wellbeing of every child remains at the heart of all that we do.
