Term 3 Week 5
Respectful Relationship evening
It was fantastic to see a great turn out last Monday evening at the school to listen to Tammy Smith about what the Respectful Relationship program. It was great to catch up with a number of parents. Tammy explained about the program and how the school and the community can be involved. It was pleasing to see the children involved in the discussion and willingly offer their ideas and thoughts. One of our schools values is ‘Being Respectful’ and this program just adds and supports to the teaching of our school values.
Ski Day
A quick reminder that this Friday is our whole school Ski Day at Falls Creek. The weather looks like it should be fairly good. The snow this week should be fantastic with an extra 70cm of fresh snow. The bus is leaving at 6.30 AM so please be here on time (6:15am) with all your snow gear. It will be warm on the bus so you don’t need to wear all your skiing gear straight away. Please bring lots of food for the day as all of you will be doing lots of exercise and will use lots. Below is the letter we sent home last week, of what you are required to bring and food suggestions for the day. Please don't forget, no spending money is required as children are not allowed to purchase food on this excursion as per the attached note. For parents attending on the day, please note this as well, as it is not fair to the children who don't have parents with them. We don't want any sick students from eating too much junk food.
Trivia Night
The bookings of tables have been coming in which is fantastic, so just a reminder to get your table together and order your meals or platters as soon as possible, so we know how many to cater for and no one misses out on food. It has been a great fun night in previous years. If you are able to help in anyway please feel free to ask as their a number of different jobs to do.
