From the Library

Remote Learning

Although Stage 4 has meant the School is much quieter than normal, we have continued to be busy responding to the needs of staff and students.

The Library has been the focal point for on-site learning.  Students from a range of year levels have been lucky to have a number of Casual Relieving Teachers to assist with their online classes and work.  We would like to thank Ms Meadows, Mr Eade, Mr Bullen and Ms Ananthuni for their regular on-site attendance and support of students.

Library staff are also continuing to support classroom teachers with resources to assist their online teaching and in preparation for 2021 booklists and classes.  We have recently received a range of new Fiction and Non-Fiction Books which will be available for students on their return.  New titles include The Conference of The Birds (Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children) by Ransom Riggs and The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (Hunger Games) by Suzanne Collins.

Book Websites

During remote learning, we would like to recommend a number of wonderful  booksites which students can access from home.  These sites provide book reviews, blogs, activities and events .  Try some and let us know what books you would like to see purchased for your Library.
