Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we are all aware there has been a lot of uncertainty in 2020. In light of this, we would like to make the end of year Prep - 2 Concert an online event. This will mean that students will still be practicing a performance number in class time for Performing Arts but the final performance will be uploaded and watched on the Point Cook P-9 Facebook account. We are aware that this is not usually how we share our learning with you and that some of you may not be comfortable with this arrangement. We ask all families to please complete the following quick questionnaire indicating if you are happy for your child to be filmed and for the footage to be shared on Facebook:
If you are uncomfortable with your child participating in a video we will make arrangements for your child to practice with the rest of the class during lessons, but they will be positioned out of camera range for the filming of the video of the final performance. They will be participating by playing a musical instrument rather than on screen. Please note that no changes need to be made to your child’s current photo permission if you choose to opt them out of the video of the Prep - 2 performance.
