Welcome to the 9th Edition of The Ivy Voice!
Led by new Chief Editor, Victoria Sze, this edition of The Ivy Voice was created with the intent of increasing awareness of global issues.
On a bittersweet note, after a rewarding two years of service as Chief Editor of The Ivy Voice, with gratitude for all members of the School community who have supported this journey, I am retiring as Chief Editor.
I am pleased to announce that Victoria Sze (Year 10, The Ridgeway Campus) will be assuming the role of Chief Editor in 2023. I am sure her leadership and guidance to support the new Editing Team will be excellent, as The Ivy Voice plans to publish more editions in the near future.
It has been a privilege to publish five editions of the newspaper that truly celebrate the collaboration and achievement of all campuses and year levels of Ivanhoe Grammar School. I thank all student writers, artists, teachers and parents who have contributed and supported The Ivy Voice, and encourage the School community, especially younger year levels to seek involvement in the creation of this newspaper. Personally, I would like to acknowledge the Founding Editors of The Ivy Voice, Emilie McKenna and Harriet Thorpe (Class of 2021) for giving me the opportunity to grow this newspaper.
I look forward to the future of The Ivy Voice and wish the new Editing Team all the success as The Ivy Voice continues to be an exciting, innovative, cross-campus initiative that unites the School.
