Welcome back to Term 3! 

We hope you all had a restful break and have managed to settle well into Term 3.

SHUS

Our secondhand uniform shop (SHUS) will next be open on Saturday 27 August from 9.00 to 11.00am in Dalton Hall. Due to very high levels of secondhand stock on hand, we will only be open for sales and will NOT be accepting any items for consignment at this opening.

Kilvington Cares

So far this year, the Kilvington Cares Food Program has delivered meals to over a dozen families in need of some extra attention and support. These meals are more than just a delicious dinner; they are a warm community hug that lets the recipients know they are part of a strong school community. 

 

Thank you to all our wonderful cooks who provide these meals regularly. We are incredibly grateful for your time and talent.

Administration Staff Thank You Lunch 

Thank you to all those families who provided yummy food items and notes of gratitude last Wednesday for the special lunch recognising our administration, maintenance, library and IT teams. Their hard work behind the scenes keeps the School running smoothly and is very much appreciated. 

The tables were filled with an amazing and delicious selection of sausage rolls, pastries, sandwiches, sushi, savoury slice, quiche, chicken, cakes, cookies and more for our non-teaching staff to enjoy. 

 

Extra special thanks to Carrie Fowler and Helen Vouros for setting up the lunch spread and making it look so wonderful. 

PFA meeting - Seeking parent input into the Kilvington Strategic Plan

The next PFA meeting will be held on Wednesday 10 August from 7.00 to 8.45pm in the Staff Lounge. All parents and carers are members of the PFA and are welcome to attend. 

 

At this meeting, Principal Rob French will present the draft Strategic Plan for the School and will offer the opportunity for parents to provide feedback and contribute to Kilvington’s future development. 

 

Together with feedback from staff and students, these thoughts and ideas will be collated and reviewed, and a final Strategic Plan will be shared with key stakeholders later in the year.

Father's Day Breakfast - 26 August

We look forward to welcoming our amazing dads and special friends with their children to a special Father’s Day Breakfast in Dalton Hall from 7.30 to 8.30am on Friday 26 August 2022. 

A delicious breakfast and hot beverages will be provided along with photo opportunities, activities and door prizes. 

 

Tickets are $25 for parents, special friends and Senior School students and $15 for Junior School and ELC students. Book your tickets here. 

 

As we know, many hands make light work, so if you can spare a few hours on the day to help set up and serve breakfast, please sign up here. All contributions of time and effort are much appreciated.

Father's Day Stall - 29 August

Students will be able to spoil their fathers and special friends with a variety of wonderful goodies from the Father’s Day stall on Monday 29 August 2022. Junior School students will visit the Stall in class groups throughout the morning and Senior School students will be able to visit during recess.
