Prep and Year One Cricket Blast Sessions
Over the last few weeks the Preps and Year 1’s have had an incursion from the Bayside Stingray Cricket Club. They are a local club that are also looking for new members to join their club on Saturday mornings for introduction lessons to cricket (Cricket Blast). Ten weeks of lessons is approximately $100 which includes a cap, shirt, bat and ball.

SSV Holt Athletics 2026 Duncan McKinnon
On Monday 24th of August, St Agnes’ competed in the SSV Holt Athletics against other schools in the Holt District. The team was composed of 61 St Agnes’ students from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.
The weather was glorious for Athletics, almost perfect conditions. Sunny conditions, blue sky and hardly a breath of wind at all. This had the 8 schools competing even more excited about the prospects of records being broken by crossing the line first in record time. Proceedings began with the 800 metres race followed by field events and other track events such as hurdles, 100 and 200 metres and many more.
The feature races were the relays and they did not disappoint. Nearly all of St Agnes relay teams were centimeter perfect and all schools could only marvel at the brilliance of our relay runners. St Agnes’ finished 7th in the percentage division and an excellent 3rd Overall behind Our Lady of Lourdes Prahran and St James Brighton.
I would like to say a big thank you to the teachers who helped out and came to support the students. Most of all I thank the team for doing an amazing job representing St Agnes’. We are all very proud of you.
