Our Wonderful Whizbang!!

Last Saturday Whizbang held their 26th anniversary in the Robinson Centre Theatre.

Whizbang alumni royalty returned to BHS to form a 40 plus member super band (pictured below) playing hits from across the Bands 26 year history.  The current Whizbang opened the show with an entertaining set showcasing recently written works before the Whizbang Super Band took to the stage.

The Whizbang Alumni Band (pictured below) performed an 18 song set that covered classic songs curated from the 26 year journey featuring a variety of vocalists and soloists that produced a memorable performance in reprise of recent and historical repertoire.

The audience were also treated to footage recorded at Federation University over the years playing through the big screen.  It was a delightful trip down memory lane and a joyful celebration of musicianship.

Thank you to Richard Marcollo and Jack Coulter for running production and for the support of our Performing Arts Department.  Many thanks also to our Alumni Coordinator, Eliza Hopkinson for her assistance in the planning and delivery of the event.
