Grade 5 News
This week, the Grade 5 students have been considering what it takes to gather accurate, unbiased data. In designing and conducting their own short surveys, they’ve also learnt to think like statisticians; converting percentages and making decisions based on sound reasoning so that no matter the result of rounding decimals, our totals always add up to 100%. What use is data if no-one can understand it? Our students showed their ability to communicate their results by creating free-hand pie charts to accurately display their information.
