In 2025, the most significant factor influencing attendance rates was once again the ongoing trend of families undertaking overseas travel, particularly to visit relatives they had not seen in several years. 

Established procedures are in place to address student non-attendance. These procedures include daily follow-up for students who are absent without a valid explanation. The follow-up process begins with an SMS from our front office and may, on occasion, involve a meeting with the classroom teacher, Principal, or Deputy Principal. Student attendance records are maintained and may be reviewed during Learning Conversations if patterns of concern emerge.

Termly data is collected and utilised to collaborate with families, ensuring appropriate support from Wellbeing and Learning Enrichment staff.

These processes and the decreased prevalence of Covid19 within the community has seen our average attendance increase across the school by 8.9% in the past 12 months, returning close to pre-covid levels.
