Today we unite in solemn respect and remembrance to honour all Australian service personnel who have died or suffered in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
Lest we forget.
Father of peace,
We pray for those who have served to protect our great Southern Land;
We commend to your mercy those who died for our freedom;
We pray for the safety of those who are currently serving in the defence forces.
We pray for peace throughout the world.
We ask this through our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Amen

Recently, Year 8/9 Food Technology students competed in the Great Scone Bake Off! Students had to decide whether to follow a traditional scone recipe, or one using lemonade, and research tips and tricks to make the perfect scone! Our staff were quite happy to be the taste-testers, and from all reports it was a tough competition!

Recently, Year 9 Outdoor Education students had a wonderful few days away in Portland. Students participated in many action-packed activities including abseiling, caving, sandboarding, and body boarding in the ocean. They also spent time exploring the amazing landscapes, playing beach games, and connecting with their peers. Students put their camp cooking skills to the test, preparing their meals on trangias.
Well done to the students for getting involved in all the activities and challenging some fears!

Year 7 Japanese students had a fun, hands-on lesson last week, with Mrs Cross teaching them the art of sushi making!
