Principal's Report

Dear families,

It is hard to believe that we only have only 5 weeks of the term left. As you can see by the calendar below.

SCHOOL UNIFORM

Lately we have noticed many children are coming to school not in their correct school uniform. Please assist us by ensuring students arrive at school in full uniform. Some key points:

• Navy blue shorts, skirts/skorts or track suit pants.
• White, navy or black socks
• Correct school jumper or jacket
• Broad brimmed school hat.

REMEMBRANCE DAY

On Tuesday our school captains conducted a Remembrance Day Ceremony to commemorate this very special day. 

Our school was also represented at the Murchison Italian Remembrance Day at the Murchison Cemetery by Lola and Edie. They gathered with other members of the community to remember and reflect on the prisoners of war and internees, that were detained and sent to the Murchison Italian Ossario.

SCHOOL LEADERSHIP GROUPS

Currently the Communication Group are working on purchasing three new flag poles for our school. They also assisted with baking some afternoon tea for our recent Parents and Friends Meeting. 

GRADE 5/6 CANBERRA CAMP

The Grade 5/6s are heading off bright and early at 6:30am on Monday, for their trip to Canberra. Their itinerary is jam packed and they'll have some wonderful experiences. We're sure they'll have a wonderful time and we can't wait to hear all about it!
