Highvale Retirement Village

A handful of woodwind, bass guitar, string and vocal students visited Highvale Retirement Village earlier this week. They played a selection of well-known songs and Christmas carols to the appreciative audience members, finishing with a sing along that the residents also took part in. The students then joined the residents for afternoon tea and the opportunity to chat.

Glen Waverley Library

Last week a group of students walked to the Glen Waverley library to put on a performance of Christmas carols and other pieces. Students sang and played a variety of instruments such as woodwind, brass, strings and bass guitar. The audience, although smallish, was very appreciative. Lunch at The Glen was a great way to finish off a successful day.
