DAT Show 2025 brought the school community together for an exciting night celebrating student creativity across Visual Arts and Media, Technology, and the Performing Arts. The showcase highlighted the talent, effort and range of skills developed by students across The Arts and Technology.
The exhibition showcased impressive ceramic works from the Year 8–9 Sculpture classes, inspired by local Victorian artist Minna Graham, alongside a diverse range of high-quality student work from Years 7–12 across Visual Arts, Visual Communication Design, Photography, Film and Media, Textiles and Multi-materials. The standard of work on display elevated the atmosphere of the night, with engaging artworks, striking photography and films, and carefully crafted pieces drawing visitors through the exhibition spaces. Enticing aromas from the Food Technology area, where students prepared and served high-quality dishes, added to the experience, while the event provided a fantastic opportunity for families, students and staff to socialize and celebrate creativity together as a school community.
Live music and drama performances brought energy and excitement to the evening, while a dedicated listening station gave visitors the chance to engage with original student compositions in a more intimate way. The award-winning Robotics Club impressed audiences with their innovative demonstrations, and the fashion show showcased confidence, creativity and craftsmanship, quickly becoming a standout moment of the night.
A huge congratulations to all students involved for their creativity, commitment and hard work. Thank you also to the families who joined us to celebrate and support our students, and to the dedicated teachers whose guidance and encouragement helped make DAT Show 2025 such a memorable and successful event.
