NSWCPS & NSWCCC Cross Country
A huge congratulations to our Cross Country representatives for their efforts at the Sydney Equestrian Centre on Wednesday 24th June.
St Philomena's was represented by seven students who qualified across Primary and Secondary with some fantastic results.
8/9 years Anthony Smith - 30th
11 years Chase Cosgrove - 7th (first reserve)
11 years Levi Cosgrove - 15th
11 years Isabelle Riordan - 9th
14 years Claire Shawyer - 58th
15 years Harlee Gulliver - 56th
16 years Hamish Maunder - 5th
Toni Palmer Memorial Shield
The annual Toni Palmer Memorial Shield was held in Inverell on Wednesday 1st July. St Philomena's took a busload of students from grades 3 through to 6 to participate in the Junior and Senior competitions.
Well fielded, the Junior team came home with some great games under their belt and some very impressive intercepts.
The fight was on for our Senior team, who unfortunately ended up fielding a two-down side for the day. They never gave up and continued to rally for each other throughout their games.
A huge thank you to our coaches and helpers for the day, Matt Bailey, Mrs Cosgrove, Brad Donald and Mrs Dunford.
