Community Group Meeting:

Next meeting: September 3rd 2024 at 7pm in the staffroom. It is here we discuss upcoming events, brainstorm new events, talk about fundraising goals and celebrate past events. ALL parents and carers WELCOME.

📚☕️Bookweek coffee ☕️ 📚

Thank you very much to the parents who helped serve coffee this morning, and to those families that were able to have a cuppa and chat.

🔨🌭Bunnings BBQ SAVE THE DATE🌭🔨 🧅

We have been lucky enough this year to secure THREE Bunnings BBQ fundraiser.

The next BBQ will be on Saturday September 14th.

Various shifts are available throughout the day in 1-2 hour blocks. Look out for more information on PAM and Facebook pages.

Money is due back to the office ASAP.

If you can’t sell the whole box, that is ok. Just return the box with extras and money to cover what has been taken. Complete boxes are worth $60.

Sports:

Netball 🎽

Our final Round of Netball didn’t go as planned due to the heavy rain, most games were called off during or before start of play.

However, the rain stayed away for our final Training day which the coaches organised a special Olympics. All teams were split between 4 groups across all ages with fun games played. We had so much fun, It was such a great and fitting way to see off our Final 2024 Training Session. Thank you to everyone who organised this.

It’s not over yet for our 13&U Team. Congratulations on finishing as Minor premiers playing undefeated in their division for the year and now have the opportunity to play in Finals with the Grand Final being played in 2 weeks time. Good luck for your finals campaign.

A big thank you and congratulations also needs to go to Dee Duffy who has coached this team from the very start, which I’m sure is a vital reason why the girls are into the finals.

Thank you to all Coaches, Team Mangers and Parents who have helped throughout the year. 2024 has been by far our most successful Netball Year with numbers. To see the distinctive Blue, Orange and White over each hour of the Morning SNA Netball timeslots has been fantastic. I'm sure this will continue on for years to come.

To finish off the season, we have our Presentation night being held tonight in the Auditorium. Looking forward to seeing all families to celebrate our very successful year.

Meals:

If you are in need of a meal due to illness, a new baby or your family is just having a tough time, please reach out.

Similarly if you have a meal we could pop in the freezer for a family, simply date and label with ingredients and drop at the office.

🍔🍟We have recently needed a few meals for a family of four with no allergies. If you are in a position to make a meal it would be greatly appreciated 🥘🌮

This year we will try to offer each event as a ‘sunset group’, that all parents are welcome to join in. These events may be just a once off and would suit your interest/s, and time schedule. They include things like the upcoming end of term BBQ or major raffle.
