Dear Parents and Families:

Reading for pleasure unlocks the power of information and imagination and helps children discover who they are.

The theme of our Scholastic Book Fair is Dyno-Mite , where we hope you will catch the reading bug! It’s a fun reading event that brings the books kids want to read right into our school. It’s a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level. Please make plans to visit our Book Fair and be involved in shaping your child’s reading habits.

Book Fair dates: Wednesday 19th - Monday 24th August

Shopping hours:  Mornings from 8.15 - 9.00am

                                  Afternoons from 3.15 - 4.00pm

It’s one of the most anticipated events of the school year for students—but we need volunteers to make it happen. Your help is crucial in making the Fair a truly unforgettable experience for our children. We hope you’ll consider offering your time 

and talents to get it running!

Book Week

Book Week is just around the corner. 

This is when we at St Mark's explore all the new CBCA books. Teachers have been reading the new books in class and the children have been enjoying talking about all the different stories and which books have been their favorite.  

At the end of Book Week we will be celebrating by having a Book Week dress-up day which will be on Friday 28th August. So lets get creative and have fun putting your costumes together. Can't wait to see what you all come up with. 

We will having a Book Week parade at the 9:00am Assembly.
