Hoop Time

Hoop Time Competition 30th July 2026

A big thank you to all the children who represented St Mark’s in the Hoop Time competition at Broadmeadows Basketball Stadium on Thursday.  It was wonderful to witness the outstanding sportsmanship, enthusiasm and determination they displayed throughout the day.  I was incredibly proud to be there and support them.

The competition was run as a round-robin tournament, with schools from across the Glenroy District participating.  Our students demonstrated excellent teamwork, persistence and resilience in every game and they represented St Mark’s with pride.  They should all be congratulated on their fantastic efforts.

A special thank you also to Mrs Barbanera for accompanying me on the day and for her wonderful support of both the students and myself.
