Whole School News

From the P&F
It’s not just sundowners and catch-ups!
I’m pleased to report that at the last P&F meeting, we were able to fund several projects that will enhance our students' experience. Each year, we ask the various departments and groups within the school how we can invest to improve their offerings and student experiences.
This is the second year we have done this and we were impressed by the quality of all the applications, both in the effort put into preparing them and in the tangible benefits their ideas will bring to the school community.
We thank both the successful and unsuccessful applicants for their dedication to improving the GSG experience. Listed below is a summary of the projects that were approved at our meeting:
| Project | Department | Amount Funded |
| Outdoor table tennis tables | Secondary | $15,000 |
| Portable lighting system | Drama | $1,138 |
| Water fountain addition/replacement | Gym | $10,000 |
| ECC cubbyhouse | ECC | $5,000 |
| Year Ten building and construction (supplies and outdoor furniture building) | Secondary | $5,000 |
| Marine monitoring equipment | Secondary | $3,000 |
$39,138 |
