👀 Behind the P&C Scenes
June huh? You're almost half way through the school year and soon your reward will be... Term 3! If you made it this far without losing a single drink bottle, our sincere congrats!
For the past weeks the P&C has been building new systems, tech and processes, tweaking strategy, and making changes with the PBSS Uniform Shop. Why? We want to simplify the way you order uniforms, bed down pre-requisite changes to build a pipeline of good stuff for students and make life simpler for Member and Committee volunteers on the P&C itself.
P&C people are working on some bigger projects (stay tuned), and exploring what Events will be doable within the 2026 window. As always, if you're open to volunteering to support events, let us know with the 'Express Interest' link below. See you around the school gate.
🎨 Introducing the P&C Logo
Minor drum roll time... you might start to see this logo around. To help evolve our P&C Association's 'look and feel', we've created a P&C logo and brand, and new website (more info below). It'll help us look polished when interacting with external suppliers, donors and sponsors, and make it easier for you to see what's run by the School or run by your P&C.

We've changed our uniform shop and P&C website to the new domain link below. You can now access a simpler, modern online shop for purchasing PBSS uniforms and accessories.
We recommend adding the link below to your laptop bookmarks or mobile home screen.

When ordering, please always add your child's name and class (eg. Jane Smith, 3G) in the notes section, and if you'd like an order delivered to the classroom, just request that also.
Looking for Pre-Loved uniforms? You can't buy Pre-Loved Items via the online store, but you can see what's available from time to time in Uniform Shops. Take a look when open.

🛍️ GST... But No Price Rise
With a growing school and increasing volume, the Uniform Shop will soon register for GST (at 1 July 2026). To help support parents by maintaining current prices, P&C has decided the 10% GST will be included within the current prices.

🛝 P-2 Playground Campaign Pre-Launch
The P&C, in consultation with the school and parents, has set the goal of funding a modern 'P-2 Playground'. The P&C will soon run a donation campaign for school and local families, businesses and organisations. We'll invite everyone to contribute to fundraising this goal!
This playground needs an upgrade asap. A purpose-built P-2 playground will be more than fun. It'll create an awesome, modern and active outdoor space to help prep kids improve their gross motor skills, balance, coordination, confidence, and... make new friends as well.
If you, your family or anyone you know, is interested and able to help, that's fantastic. Any contribution, big or small, will be solely allocated to this project. Thank you in advance.
Know any caring local organisations or businesses that might contribute? Let us know! We are also keen to hear from anyone with local social channels willing to spruke the campaign.

You're welcome to attend, meet new members, and discuss opportunities and ideas.
Non-members are also welcome to attend, share in the discussions, and learn more.
🙋Open to Volunteering?
As the committee looks ahead, we're putting the call out for more P&C volunteers.
Every event, regardless of size, takes heads, hearts, hands and hours behind the scenes to deliver. Surprise tasks, logistics and admin. To help create more events, we need support.
If you're passionate about the experience for students and our community, have a think what event ideas, hours and help you might be able to contribute - whether that's a little or a lot! Is there a micro-event you'd like to run, or some grand idea? Think small, big, and in between.
If we can build a bigger volunteer parent army, we'll be able to consider more events.

🎉 2027 'Pre-Prep' Playdates

In the spirit of building community, having fun and helping kids transition to prep with familiar faces and greater ease, check out this monthly play group at Mallawa Sports fields.
This is organised by a few local mums who want to connect, support the transition to school for kids, and help them build bonds 'pre prep'. Text Hayley 0422 850 428 to RSVP.
