TERM 1 -Week 9 & 10
Principal's Awards - Eloise C
Eloise you have demonstrated the Mercy Values of excellence and compassion. This week you were very helpful to a young student who was feeling very sad outside at break time. You gave up your time to sit with her and helped her to feel better. This was very compassionate and kind. Your teacher has also recognized that you try your best all the time – showing the value of excellence. Thanks, Eloise, for helping to make our school safe by supporting others.

Principal's Awards - Francesco L
Francesco you have demonstrated the Mercy Values of excellence and compassion. A couple of weeks ago there was a new student who was spending some time at our school. When the new student was on his own, you reached out to him and invited him into your downball game. This helped the student feel welcomed and included. Your teacher has also recognized that you try your best all the time – showing the value of excellence. Thanks, Francesco, for helping to make our school inclusive for others. Principal's Awards - Alex
Alex, you have demonstrated the Mercy Values of stewardship and excellence. You worked really hard to make our Easter raffle a very big success. Not only did you help out with creating the raffle books, putting together prizes and helping distribute prizes – you were also the highest fundraiser for the raffle! We appreciate that you put in so much effort to support our school get a new projector. Thank you, Alex, for working hard to get better resources for our school so that all our students can benefit from better projections in the Mercy centre. You also added to the spirit of the day by dressing as the Easter Bunny to add to the excitement for our younger students!

Principal's Awards - Liam C
Liam you have demonstrated the Mercy Values of compassion and hospitality. You have noticed that one of the foundation students has been having trouble in break times. Even though you are not her buddy, you have supported her to find friends and get help when she needs it. This shows compassion and also helps her to feel like she belongs at our school. In this way you are showing the Mercy value of hospitality. Thanks, Liam for helping to make our school inclusive and supportive for our younger students.

Principal's Awards - Nicola T
Nikki, you have demonstrated the Mercy Values of stewardship and excellence. Our school has been in desperate need of a new projector for the Mercy Centre. Along with your sister and mum, you worked really hard to make our Easter raffle a very big success. You helped out with creating the raffle books, putting together prizes and helping distribute prizes and we really appreciate your efforts in helping to raise so much money from this raffle. You showed a lot of enthusiasm on the last day dressing up as the Easter Bunny and this helped to make it successful and fun for the students. Thanks Nicky, for all you did to ensure that we can get a new projector next week in the Mercy Centre.
