Celebrating OSHC Educator Day - Wednesday 29 July

Our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program is a highly valued cornerstone of our school community, and that is entirely thanks to our extraordinary team of OSHC managers and staff. Every single day, our wonderful team goes above and beyond to provide essential, reliable care for our families, seamlessly balancing high Early Childhood (ACECQA) standards and child safety measures with an environment bursting with fun, laughter, and genuine inclusion for all children. 

Without their unwavering dedication, tireless energy, and professional expertise, it simply would not be the vibrant, high-quality, and nurturing service we are so deeply proud to offer our families.

On behalf of our school community, and Business Manager Angela Stevens who works so closely with Cassie, Kym, Lauren and the team, thank you for all you do!

I invite our school community to also take a moment in the next few days to pop in and say hi to our team and thank them for the wonderful job they do each and every day for the children.

Protected Industrial Action – Thank You

I would like to sincerely thank our families for their understanding, flexibility and support during the Australian Education Union's protected industrial action on Thursday 23 July. We recognise that the disruption to normal school operations created inconvenience for many families, and we greatly appreciated the patience and kindness shown by our school community.

The industrial action forms part of the Australian Education Union's campaign to secure a new Victorian Government Schools Agreement. In addition to the one-day strike, AEU members have been undertaking other forms of protected industrial action, including bans on unpaid overtime and certain administrative tasks, as negotiations with the Victorian Government continue.

Whilst industrial action creates challenges for schools and families, our staff remain committed to ensuring that every student at Croydon Hills Primary School receives the very best education, now and into the future.
