Intermediate Girls Futsal

On Friday the 24th of October, the Intermediate Girls competed in the Eureka Futsal competition. In game one, we went down to Mount Clear 2-1, despite Hazel being dominant in goals. We played a tough game against Daylesford B in game two. Courtney stopped a few goals by doing the splits, while Izzy, Hazel and Shaelee all scored goals. Zaihret and Skye were strong in defence but sadly we went down 7-3.

We beat Phoenix 3-2 in our third game and game four we drew with Daylesford A. Our final game was against Woodman’s Hill and our spirits were high as we were keen to finish the day with a win. With the boys cheering us on from the sideline we took home the win, 2-0!

We had such a fun day and want to thank Mr Severino and Miss Hughes for training, driving and coaching us.
