Advent
Dear God, our Loving Father,
As we enter this beautiful season of Advent, a time of waiting and joyful hope, help us to understand its deep meaning in our lives. Just as Your people long ago awaited the coming of Your Son, Jesus, we too prepare our hearts for His birth at Christmas and His final return in glory. Teach us to light the candles of our Advent wreath each week, reminding us of the light of Christ that grows brighter as we draw near to Him.
In our school family—children, teachers, parents, and friends—fill us with the spirit of conversion and humility. May we listen for Your voice in the quiet moments, repent of what holds us back, and open our hearts to Your grace, like Mary who pondered Your Word with faith and love. Help our little ones learn patience and kindness, sharing the joy of Your salvation with one another through acts of love and service.
Lord Jesus, who is already near, come into our classrooms, homes, and hearts. Strengthen our hope that Your presence makes every day meaningful, turning our waiting into a time of peace and anticipation of the eternal joy You promise.
May Advent draw us closer as a community, ready to welcome You fully and live as Your disciples in our world.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
