Educational Support Staff - Celebration!

This week we have been celebrating our Education Support Staff, as Saturday May 16 was Education Support Day. Our students and staff have shown appreciation for our incredible ES team through cards, books, letters, message boards and a shared afternoon tea.

Our ES staff have an enormous impact on our school community. They are often the first friendly faces to greet families when they enter our foyer and support students across all areas of learning - academic, social, emotional and wellbeing. They build strong, trustingconnections with students, provide invaluable support in the yard and work closely with teachers to ensure every child can access learning and feel successful.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who reached out to both our classroom ES staff and our admin ES team with kind messages as well as chocolates, cakes and other treats. They have been genuinely touched by the kindness and generosity shown across our community.

Inclusion Outreach Coach

Our school is currently partnering with Inclusion Outreach Coach (IOC), Millie Carr, to strengthen inclusive practice across classrooms. Millie brings expertise in inclusive education, problem‑solving, deep knowledge of teaching and learning and the ability to coach and support all members of our school community.

As part of this partnership, Millie has been observing classrooms, speaking with staff and students, and gathering anecdotal information in order to identify an area of focus where inclusive practice can be further enhanced. If you would like to learn more about the role Millie will play at Wembley you can watch this video
