Celebration of Sound

“As the curtains drew back and the stage was bathed in the warm glow of lights, I was transported to a world where music painted emotions, and the audience was swept away on the wings of harmony. 

The evening was a symphony of talent, dedication, and passion that left an indelible mark on every soul present… It was as if the instruments were not merely inanimate objects, but vessels carrying the dreams, aspirations, and heartbeats of the performers”.

This spectacular musical event at the end of August marks the pinnacle of Donvale's annual concert series, the culmination of many months of hard work, practice, and collaborative efforts. 

With more than 300 students investing their heart and soul into their performances, the event served as a testament to the school's unwavering dedication to nurturing musical talent and cultivating a profound appreciation for the arts.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our exceptional music team, who planned and led the event to its resounding success. A special mention goes out to Peter Sheridan and Janine Power, whose dedication to programming, organising staff, and handling the myriad behind-the-scenes tasks was crucial in bringing the evening together.
