Join the Ride & Stride Bike Bus

Merri-bek Primary is launching a Bike Bus to school – a group of families and kids that ride together to school every Friday morning.

Bike Busses have been growing in popularity overseas, and interstate, so we are excited to have our very own here in Merri-bek!

Our first Bike Bus will start Friday 21st February, and we’ll try to run every week over the school year. There’ll be music, stickers and lots of fun riding safely together to school.

You can find the map of the route attached - we have 2 different starting points – one at Anstey Station (8:25am) and one at Palazzolo Park (8:30am), then we join together at the Bike Bus Stop at 8:35am on the Upfield Path at Carron St, and we ride together to get to school at 8:45am.

Parents are responsible for the safety of their own children on the Bike Bus and should always join their child on the ride or pre-arrange supervision with another parent.
