Geography Fieldwork
Year 11 ATAR
On Tuesday, 2 September, Year 11 ATAR Geography students conducted fieldwork at three different McDonald's Stores in the Perth Metropolitan Area.
This fieldwork forms a significant part of our current study of globalisation and associated topic of' global commodities, goods, and services' for which students, as per the course syllabus, are required to use fieldwork to investigate the reasons for, and consequences of, the changing spatial distribution of production and consumption of goods or services.

RBA Governor Michele Bullock Excursion
Yesterday, four of Trinity's ATAR Economics class went to the Mercure Hotel for an RBA chat from the Reserve Bank Governor, Michele Bullock. As we entered the reception so did Michele, so I casually said, "hi Michele" in a manner like you would an old friend, the students were somewhat star struck and giggled afterwards "wow, that's the Reserve Bank Governor".
Then we were treated to two hours of Michele explaining the state of the economy, adding value to students learning on macroeconomic terms learnt this year. Noah Bosio (12.2) asked a good question in front of his year 12 peers which included about 34 other schools. Then Jamie Kim (12.8) read aloud a well thought out answer which took a couple minutes.
