Glen Innes High School proudly participated in the State Finals for the Science and Engineering Challenge, with 32 enthusiastic students representing our School at the University of Newcastle in the last week of August.

Throughout the excursion, students demonstrated our core school values of integrity, teamwork, and perseverance, conducting themselves with excellent conduct and sportsmanship. The challenges they faced included designing and building bridges, creating aeroplanes, and constructing wind turbines, all of which tested their creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.

Our team’s hard work and dedication paid off as we achieved an impressive 21st place overall in the state, showcasing the talent and potential of our students.

We are incredibly proud of their efforts and commitment to excellence in science and engineering!
