The winter months have hit us, and that means one thing for our BPS community - footy & netball! It's time to rug up in the winter woolies and hit the netball court and footy oval.
Community Cup Dads' Footy Saturday 30 August, 2:00pm at Hurlingham Park
The Big Game is Back - The BPS Lions vs Brighton Beach PS Dreamers
Calling all dads - get involved and be a part of the fun, footy and fundraising.
Training is 4pm on Sundays at Hurlingham Park.
QKR is now open for player and supporter registrations in our biggest fundraiser of the year!
Player Registration – $300 (Short Sleeve) / $307 (Long Sleeve)
Includes personalised match jumper, post-game function ticket, raffle tickets, and more.
Jumper order deadline: Friday, 20th June if you want a personalised jumper – no late orders!
Supporter Registration – $180
Includes raffle tickets, function ticket, and official Footy Record.
Kids' Jumpers – $45
Available in S, M, L

Seeking Sponsors -Want to be more involved with the Community Cup?
We’re looking for sponsors for the Dads’ football match this year, and we need your help! The match is the biggest fundraiser event for the school and has helped with the new basketball court and the new playground in recent years. Sponsorship is how it all starts - where we promote your business and showcase your logo on the game jumpers and billboards. If you or your friends have a business they’d like to promote, please contact Sean Holmesby (sean.holmesby@gmail.com) by June 17th to lock in your logo.
Mums' Netball Saturday 18 October, 2pm @ Brighton Primary School
The Mums’ Netball is back! Our much loved Bluebirds will take on the Brighton Beach Dreamers once again.
We’re looking for players, trainers and helpers, everyone’s welcome, no experience needed!
Training started this week and will be held every Tuesday at 7:30pm at BPS.It’s a great way to meet other parents, have fun, get active and support our school.

URGENT HELP NEEDED – Fun Lunch Sausage Sizzle Coordinators Wanted
Our much loved end-of-term sausage sizzles are at risk of being cancelled unless we can find a few parent volunteers to help coordinate.
What’s involved?Just one day a term – four times a year.
Before the day:
- Collate Qkr orders
- Purchase sausages, bread etc. (Coles)
- Distribute stickers to classes
On the day:
- Set up BBQs
- Coordinate helpers (cooking, serving, tidying)
- Pack up
Ideally, we’d love a small team who can commit for the year (and beyond if possible) to keep things running smoothly.
