Years 2 & 3

As I write this final newsletter report I am sitting in our 2/3 classroom with all the hustle and bustle of the year packed away and finalised. I am reflecting on the growth the children showed over the year in their learning, in their development as individuals, and as members of the Cavendish school community. I am very proud of each student and the learning and growing that has been done in this classroom over the past school year. Each one of them has achieved in their own unique and meaningful way.

I must admit shedding a tear or two as the end of year has approached. At this juncture I would like to thank Kate Steele for the opportunity to work at Cavendish Primary School this year, and all my fantastic colleagues here for making the year so great. Thank you to all the parents for entrusting your child's education to me this year. It has been a privilege to have supported and witnessed your children's growth. Thank you lastly to the students who have just been a constant delight.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your loved ones. Have a wonderful break over the summer. I am happy to say I look forward to seeing the children in Week 1 next year as their MARC van teacher. 😊
